Travel

In Finland, Turku is reachable by plane, car, train or bus. Åbo Akademi University is located within a walking distance (about 15 minutes) of the city centre. From abroad, you can travel by air – via Helsinki or directly to Turku – or by sea. Air travel directly to Turku is strongly recommended, since this will save a lot of time. There are connecting, direct flights available from SAS/Blue1 from Stockholm and Copenhagen.
